We are getting into the chicken business. SWMBO want fresh eggs that are ethically sourced. She also wants the chicken run to be made of recycled materials . What you see in the picture is a piece of pool fence which I cut in half and then welded together. Not much woodworking I admit but one does what one has to. The Chicken run is going to be 1.2metres X 2.4 metres which is enough for 3 or 4 chickens.
as it happens my welded piece of pool fence gives me 1.2 metres. The whole assembly will be closed in so a roof is also coming along with full height acess door. The chicken run will be more like a chicken palace.
