Cutting the leather to wrap around the strops that I am making for the carving chisels that I have. This leather is quite thin so should hold the shape of the base quite nicely. It is being attached with contact cement which should give a full and strong bond. It is important to have the suede side of the leather facing out so the stropping compound can embed in it.
